Russell's gym/kitchen complex is nick-named Russell Square by the crew. That won't mean much to non-Londoners but it's quite amusing to me. Hee hee, love it, Dot !

if i'm not mistaken, that's kevin 'tree' durand on the brown horse in the second pic cindy put up; and in the third someone is wearing a
bunnies cap! at first i thought it might be ridley, but on closer inspection, i don't think it is. i just wonder why russell is aiming his sword at the
guy? maybe it's russell's cap!
ummm, what's with the 'fluffy white' stuff? clue in someone who's only been on the scene for a year, wouldja? and i've never been to england, so maybe someone could explain the 'russell square' thing, too... 
becks tennis, anyone?

how nice it is to get up on a sunny (sunny! first time in a week!

is there any possibility the white horse russell is riding in rh could be the same as in glad, or would that particular horse perhaps be too elderly by now? oh, ooops, see? another question already. i'm so nosey! jelly - sorry you're sick! get well soon, okay?

I can picture Russell bonding with his horse. I hope he shares some horsey details! edited to add - looking for the "white horse running" smiley we used to have. Found it at MR but I don't see it here. (I don't know what gait that is on the smiley, so I said running. Looks too slow for a gallop. Canter, maybe? Not sure what that is but it's slower than a gallop. Lope?  )

The man in the Rabbitohs cap is Mickey Castellano, Russell's dresser. He's been with Russell since Gladiator .
I wasn't going to say anything about the Fluffy White , but since spreesmom asked, here goes... Back in 2000, when Hubby and I lived in London, Hubby rode big white horses on royal state occasions. We nicknamed them "Fluffy Whites", also because our Jack Russell, Bumble, was very proud of his fluffy white feet, which he licked and kept very clean. It was just one of those personal silly things. When the Glad DVD came out and people started to post screenshots of the Colosseum scene , I nicknamed Maximus' horse a Fluffy White. It seems the name has stuck and stayed throughout the years. Or, that's the way I remember it. Maybe others differ... Love your Bigger and Better, Jess !!!

thank you Jess for that beautiful picture of Robin and his Bow, i tried all day and night to recreate that picture without all the writing and on several
ocassions i almost had it and then i don't know what happened i couldn't get it to print, I use Microsoft Paint. but , anyway THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Horses can be quite active until their very senior years and a horse of that type could very well get close to 30. |
