Congrats Mara and MM. I bet a lot of blood, sweat, toil and tears went into putting that gallery together.
Can I just add one little correction, on page 24 of the '06 Tour photos, the man described as Bob Geldof isn't him. It's actually a man called Dominic Miller, dad of the charming little Misty who sang solo at the Sting show. Memories..... hell, do we need a TOFOG gig or what ladies?!!! ![]() |

And that I wasn't sure I should go ....Yeah, right.
You've got a cool boss, MM.
Adding my kudos to mara and MM for a wonderful site, and many many hours of work.
Take a bow, ladies.

I had so many wonderful memories as I looked through all those photos again. I hope you all enjoy them very much - those of you who share my fond memories and
those of you who hope yet to experience the music. Completely agree we need a band tour and we need it bad. Or at least a few gigs. One? Not above begging.
Thanks for that correction BB - I'll go fix it now.
C'mon get happy! We'll make you happy! |

Fantastic job ladies. You are developing a great Russell Crowe archive.

Very Cool, MM and mara, I took a quick look but I'll be perusing through those photos later today. I also know what a huge job that is and we all
appreciate it. It surely does bring back some wonderful TOFOG memories......sigh......

yeah, yeah. quit rubbing it in! ( )
i just hope i'll get my chance to see them perform at a time and place when i can afford to go... the site is looking wonderful! i've spent altogether too many hours already surfing and perveing, and i'm sure i'll be there many many hours more. it's new year's day, just like the day before. same old skies of grey; same
empty bottles on the floor.

can someone please explain to me why, while perveing on the
night job pix for 2002-2003, i had tears in my eyes? i don't know whether it was from
feeling left out and distraught that i might never see these guys perform (one guy in particular, and i don't mean billy!), or whether it was from fully
sensing the joy, commitment and passion that pours out of russell in waves when putting himself out there for the world to see in a much more personal and
private way - despite having however many fans in the audience - than in his films; but i almost had to stop watching them.
i didn't, of course. and i'll be going back for more when i've gotten a bit more control over myself. thank you, ladies, for all your hard work.
tx, kaspinet i've missed sooooo much... |

We have a new feature up at ThoroughlyRussellCrowe.com - a calendar that chronicles Russell's history and includes articles, interviews, photos and video.
We have October up to begin and it will be a continuous work in progress with new things added all of the time. We are very grateful to Roheryn for sharing her
extensive archives and to everyone who has contributed items over time at the Crowe Crossing board.
http://thoroughlyrussellcrowe.com/onthisdayin/oct/octcalendar.html Or - it's also the top button on the home page (click my banner). |

Oh my gosh, that is so cool. A whole lot of time went into creating this, and thank you Mara, MM and Royhern for putting it all together. Now, on a stricly
aesthetic note, I love the pretty autumnal background you used for the month of October. Fabulous job, ladies.

I thought I'd get some work done today, and then I went to "October" and totally lost my mind!!!!
girls, youse is magnifique! What a job! What a concept!
It's obvious how much work you've put into this - and thanks all round.....I even found some stuff I'd never seen before, and you know what a challenge that is!
Once, always, Russell Crowe "beauty...delight...passion" no contemporary actor is better at conveying an uncluttered personal integrity and nobility of spirit. "a very honest performer with a physical charisma and set of technical skills that make him one of the best actors of his generation" |

I even found some stuff I'd never seen before, and you know what a challenge that is! Thanks Bea (that is high praise indeed.) It's been fun learning to write the code and seeing the picture in my head take shape on the screen. MM is a
very patient teacher. She learned how to do everything first and then is teaching me. The real work of this project however is credit to Ro and you and
MariEllen and everyone who has contributed to the On This Day In thread here over the years. And he gives us so much to work with! There is the acting
. We have a phenomenal amount of information about this
man's life. .... If I were him I may be a little concerned. |
