I've been hooked on the National Geographic Channel's "Dog Town"Me too! And I believe Dog Town in where many of the Michael Vick dogs were rehabilitated.
Just wanted to bring Moo's post over here since voting is through July. The name of the shelter is Pet Paw-see.I just voted today. And I bookmarked the page and promise to make it part of my daily routine until the end of the contest. I'm going to pass it on to my Dog Park friends and hope to get them to help out too!
Kaspi, that's a GREAT shot! You should submit it to some contest, it's a winner!
Spree...my sister & BIL had an African Gray. My Dad, on the other hand, had a Yellow-naped Amazon, Cisco. Cisco also mimiced the phone, doorbell, etc...and had quite a vocabulary. Dad worked long and hard to teach Cisco to say "Goooo Giants" for football season. My favorite moment was when I came home with my cocker spaniel puppy in my arms. Cisco saw us, flared his feathers, shook his head and just kept saying "NO! NO! NO!"
Scarlet, Reecie is a beauty!
the couch is just a couch but a good dog is irreplaceable. My dogs have always been allowed on the couch and in the bed! Not much better than snuggling with your pup!
FYI...I know those booda bone rope toys are very popular, Max had one, although he never really took to it. But I'd feel remiss if I don't relay this warning. We lost one of our dog park dogs (a French Bulldog named Rocky) when he swollowed some shreds he had pulled off his booda bone. They got stuck in his intestines and he had to have surgery to remove them. He died after he developed complications after the surgery. Since Max never really took to his, I got rid of it. I'm not saying you SHOULDN'T give your dog one, especially if they like it, but PLEASE be watchful.
