I've had a couple very busy weeks at work. We received four new computers through a continuing Gates Foundation grant and I was lucky enough to get a new
computer (at work) for myself. I'm still not done getting them setup and then we need to upgrade our firewall and... jeez, I'll never be caught up. So
that on top of my trip to Seattle (got home tonight at 8:30) I'm a little bit overrwhelmed with computer duties. When things calm down (maybe this weekend
 ) I'll be sending a couple batches of screenshots to kaspi
for uploading. I know I've got 3:10 to Yuma and American Gangster done as well as the March 2006 TOFOG Leno appearance and, well, I need to look and see
what else I have.
The Photoshop training today was very basic although I learned a few new tricks for retouching. The thing I learned that was most helpful was how to return the settings to default. One of the problems I've had from learning bits here and bits there and never really having a good foundation is that sometimes I felt completely lost. I would change something in the settings and not have a clue how to reverse and I would waste a lot of time trying to fix it. Alt + Ctrl + Shift when the startup credits are rolling takes you back to the default settings. Eureka! What we do in life... echoes in eternity.

Re the kaspinet Robin page, I love that you put the pics in sequential order !
When the beach shoot is finished I'm going to burn a DVD with music and slideshows of all the batches of photos and try to drag them into some sort of logical order like that.

One of our local radio stations is playing non-stop MJ music as a tribute. Whatever you thought of him in these last few years, the man was an amazingly
creative singer and dancer.
This is this generation's "death of Elvis Presley". I remember where I was when I heard that news. It's sort of sad...a different kind of sad...that the coverage of his death will no doubt eclipse that of Farrah's, and she won't get her "due". Already on the MSN home page, the highlight box picture of her has been replaced by a page wide banner of him.

I am at his death with mixed feelings contrary. Was it a good idea for a strictly comeback again, after he tries for years his own body so mistreated?
These are those moments where I'm happy not to be famous, with a normaly job and a normaly aging process and enjoy the experience to be. |

I am sorry for MJ's death, another GREAT ENTAINER GONE, there should be a law against these Drs. who prescribe prescription drugs to the stars. i know the
ordeal of the star is really tough, and gruelling, and it takes a toll on the wear and tear of ones body, instead of giving them drugs, because they don't
want to loose that big check they are getting. put them in the hospital or rehab. until they are better. MO. look at Heath, Elvis, Anna Nicole, and many
others.
My heartfelt wishes goes out to Farrah's love ones. what a tradged week. Rusty

Hey, nice picture.
We celebrate like you on the 4th of July. Picnics, parties, fireworks etc.... altho not looking forward to listening to the fireworks this year as we discovered over the May 24th holiday it scares my little Lucy into the worst case of the shakes, I swear she's going to have a heart attack she shakes so badly and then tries to find a place to hide every night for weeks after even tho the noise is no more. i have some canadian bacon in the freezer...Hey, me too. I should thaw it out and have it today.

I'm not wild about fireworks. The first 4th of July that came along after we moved from the farm to town unfortunately drove our poor little dog insane, and we eventually had to put her to sleep......poor thing. :(

A memory like that would definitely put a damper on the festivities. We'll see how Rusty and Chloe do this year - they don't seem to be high strung
dogs so far.
 Happy 4th to all my stateside friends! I made red, white and blue waffles for breakfast
with strawberries, blueberries and whip cream stars. Our plans include watching baseball this afternoon, then tonight to see the local excellent fireworks
display.
