I have no thoughts at all to send to Russell in an email at the moment. Partly because I have nothing to say I think he'd be interested in.....partly because all the questions I USED to have for him have been answered......I think. (Ok, sometimes I don't, that's why I can't remember for sure....) I suppose I could put in a few good words for Sarah. Who, by the way, got some real movie experience not long ago.....and was not impressed. She said if that's the way all movies go, and they probably do, she'd prefer to stick with theater. I think I'd like to save my chance to send Russell an email until I had something I really wanted to talk to him about; those things come up from time to time, and it's a little frustrating not to be able to discuss them with him. To be honest, I have a million things I wanna to say to him. How much I love his movies, that he's super gorgeous, how cute his boys are, my support for his beloved Rabbitohs, etc. Yeah, basic stuff I reckon. Things that would've probably said by his fans around the globe. Geez! Most definitely I'd go star-struck by the time I got some enormous luck to chat with him. I'm not a good and open conversationist, probably 'cause I don't wanna lose control and say stupid things to him that would embarrass both sides. Teehee! What happens with most artists and stars in their daily routine right now is rightdown sad, scary and cruel. To be stalked and hunted down by the papz relentlessly 24 hrs a day, having their photographs taken in their private moments. Ewwww!! Imagine that it happens to us! The crazy and obsessive fans could make things worst, plenty of real-life examples out there. GOD, just scary! My fandom of Russ has been going for 12 yrs now, I don't wanna spoil it by becoming this crazy obsessive fan that dedicating her entire time and energy stalking the man from near or afar. Crowe Crossing Member Posts: 324 (07/03/2009 08:37 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Report Post	the majority here have the greatest respect for RC...but he is just a guy..we have to remember he doesnt walk on water...it doesnt give us license to intrude or stalk but I think sometimes we let our emotions get away with us where celebrity is concerned because we see them as larger than life..and they're not...and sometimes we even chastise each other for being honest and i dont think that is fair..we have no individual ownership here...there are countless testimonials over the years of people (fans) that have either been around him or in some close proximity..and I dont mean to brag that I am any better for having been shoulder to shoulder with him twice..and I didnt go for the purpose have having my picture taken or soilicit an autograph...I went to see him..(but truthfully I was very annoying the second time) and i have to eat my own words..but all that being said..i think we have to remind ourselves of not only where we fit in the scheme of things..but rather we are all in this together..and to support one another and be mindful this is a community not a mutual admiration society (puts soap box under bed)..

I think it would be great to have a normal conversation with him. He is an interesting person, with thoughts on a wide range of subjects. But an anonymous fan-to-icon communication seems like it would be intrusive for him and rather pointless for the fan. If it was possible to sit comfortably somewhere and just have a conversation with Russell.....(don't laugh)....I would like to ask him about his farm and his cattle, etc. Whenever he gives an interview, they ask him a question or two, but I suppose they think that would be boring for most people to listen to, so we never get any DETAILS. I'm from farm country, and I know a thing or two about cattle, and I've been curious for quite some time now about the details of his operation. What kind of forage they grow in Oz, and what kind of hay they put up, and what kinds of parasites they have to treat for, how many head per acre can the pasture support, the type of breeding program they use, all that really exciting stuff.....
