 I was just wondering about next year's calendar as I reluctantly flipped over
Mr. October - my personal fave this year - for Mr. November, also very nice.  I know
this is normally the time of year your home is covered in delicious photos of Mr. Crowe and wanted to ask but was afraid you would not have time or energy or
something. Wonderful to know there will be another fabulous JellyD creation to enjoy all through next year. Count me in please!

Hi,
 , everyone.
Sorry that I've been offline for so long. It's been a wild 3 weeks! Had a friend staying over for a week and before that I was trying to troubleshoot some very weird behaviour that affected my keyboard and printer. My friendly computer guru tells me that keyboards can cause all kinds of computer problems......who knew?? I thought I had everything figured out and things were working normally again and then the weirdness returned. 
I think it's a problem with the computer rather than the keyboard or printer ...don't ya just love Windows? 
I had started the process of emailing everyone a couple of weeks ago but had to stop- keyboard wouldn't work properly and then I got involved in the whole troubleshooting merry-go-round of uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and software. It's a challenge to figure out what may be causing a problem so I've gone the route of figuring out a work-around and keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to reformat (ugh!). So far, so good. So apologies if you haven't heard from me yet. I will respond to everyone but it may take a few days. October 1 was a VERY good day  , phoenix.

Thanks for the offer of help, Pi. I'll let you know how it goes. So far (scratch a stay, turn three times) the work-around for the printer is working. The keyboard (and the computer) is still acting possessed but a reboot or 2 seems to fix it temporarily. The keyboard behaves as if the shift key is being held down and won't type some characters at all and the cursor will suddenly jump back a few spaces and I end up typing inside a word. 
Scroll bars don't work and when I try to select something on a page, everything gets selected and I can't deselect. Those are just a few of the symptoms. I think Windows needs an exorcism. In the meantime I'll just tiptoe around my computer, talk to it nicely (threats weren't working), reboot often and keep my fingers crossed. JellyD

Sorry to hear about your computer troubles. I just had to buy a new keyboard BUT then I drowned mine.
and then my mouse wore out.
Sounds like it needs some medical attention.
