Now that we're moved in, please post in here who you would like to nominate for Board Mods (I suggest two or three Board mods) and separately, who you would like as Co-Admin. For the mods, I also suggest they end up being across the time zones, so there's always a mod available.
The Mods can do basic housekeeping items, like delete posts, move and close threads (or reopen them) and sticky threads (or unsticky). They will also be able to edit any post.
The Co-Admin would have full access to the Board.
The Co-Admin needs to be someone you trust COMPLETELY.
Mods & Co-Admin need to have a good working knowledge of ezBoard.
Once we have noms AND acceptance by those named, I will make two polls, one for the nom'd mods and one for the nom'd Co-Admin and majority will rule.

I'd like to nominate draghnfly for co-admin.
Maybe Isis and Cindy would be interested in being mods.
Cindy has been on ezboards for a long time so is very familiar with them.

I'll second your suggestion, BV. Sounds good.
(11/18/04 5:16 pm)
Me, Fabby? Are you nuts? I am available a good part of the time but I don't know nuttin' about the behind-the-scenes nuts and bolts. I'm a techno fool, remember?
(11/18/04 4:41 pm)
You shall learn, grasshopper!
(11/18/04 5:48 pm)
Cindy, bein a mod is easy. Trust me.
(11/18/04 6:25 pm)
I'd have to agree with all fab's choices.
(11/18/04 6:28 pm)
MM, I was going to suggest you too.
hehehehehee I'll get them all in mod school !
(11/18/04 5:54 pm)
Well, what about you, then, little lady? Somebody might just nominate you.......so there.

So does this mean you'll be changing your nick again , Cindy?
I agree with fabby, I think you'll be fine.
and fabby, come back here!
I think you'd make a great co-admin or mod. Consider yourself nominated.

I thank you for your confidence, Ladies, and promise the same high level of noninterference as in the past. One caveat though. As some of you know, I've been accepted in the PhD program at NDSU. So from January on, I can't guarantee how much time I'll have.
I'm very excited about the opportunity. But scared as well. Send karma.
(11/19/04 9:37 am)
Tons of good karma coming your way, d.
I agree with all the noms so far. Good choices, ladies.
(11/19/04 2:55 pm)
I've lost track of who's ophphicially nom'd and who's unophphicially nom'd, but all named are loyal, trustworthy, intelligent, obedient, don't shed....
(11/19/04 4:58 pm)
d, fabulous news! I know you're going to do great things.
(11/20/04 11:26 am)
Excellent choices - I quadruple the noms!!!
great good luck with the doctorate, d!
(11/20/04 1:28 pm)
All karma and best wishes.
(11/22/04 12:23 am)
Good idea to have a group of mods rather than a single one, less pressure d, and all the noms sound great to me.
Not only is draghnfly going for a (P)iled (h)igher and (D)eeper, but it's in a subject I didn't even know had advanced degrees. She tried to 'splain it to me but it hurt my head. Best wishes with that - shall we call you "Dr." D when you're done?
(11/22/04 12:53 am)
I think we've had all the nomming we're gonna get.
d, you're Co-Admin by a landslide, with no competition. Let's IM one day and go over some of the basics together and then I'll pop ya in.
From my reckoning, We've got Cat, Isis, Fabby and MM nommed for mods. Does everyone agree? If so I'll make the poll. Top two vote getters get the job.

In the interests of full disclosure, I've got to mention I'll be out of town for a couple weeks with no computer access during the Christmas/NY Hols, not to mention I'm techno-challenged. You might want to opt me out.
And yes. Don't forget Cindy!
