Crowe is a much bigger star than Gyllenhaalliterally and figuratively! maybe his physical presence - and erstwhile reputation as being somewhat, shall we say, pugnacious - are enough to convince people they should consider his request. and he asked so nicely, offering an alternative spot where they could watch and then leading them in that direction. as bski said, they'd follow him anywhere (and so would i!). hee-hee! i can hear the papz grumbling, "crap, he's so nice! now who are we going to pick on? Jake gets more security than Crowedoes he? i noticed russell's usual bodyguard was right there behind him, along with a police officer. i don't think i'd want to try anything ----- foolish. becks "i want to be what he's drinkin' -

Look at when he was in Europe, i think he was doing AGY, and he held up traffic given autographs and talking to the fans. also i haven't seen any pictures of Jake taking pictures with fans like our Russell. and maybe it was Russell's idea to mix with the people. He's been known to ride his bike to the set every day and chill out with Pittsburghers at local bars and enjoy live music. But, the coolest news about Mr. Crowe so far is that he is apparently a Pirates fan! @mandajayne017 took an awesome pic of the man in his Pirates jacket! Russell sure knows how to work a crowd, even a state. he knows how to make you happy. Rusty
