For those who missed Elizabeth Banks on Leno last night, she talked mostly about Russell and the movie through both of her segments. Darrin has the video up at
Constant Crowe but here's a synopsis I wrote after watching.
I liked Elizabeth from what I saw on the show, she seems down to Earth, very real and not the least bit Hollywoodish. In both her segments she talked mostly about Russell and the movie. Here's a little synopsis I wrote after watching last night. She said she was making a movie with Russell Crowe, it's a serious movie, explained she has her brunette hair for serious movies. She said he's a very serious actor and a wonderful guy. She didn't want to say much about what the movie was about, but said there are several action scenes and while Russell is very comfortable doing stunts, she isn't, she says she's usually sitting in a bathtub cracking jokes. She told about a car chase scene they did where Russell was driving a car they were in, going 60 miles an hour through a curving tunnel and then run a red light and shoot across a bridge. They did it once and the next time while they were halfway through the tunnel, on the curve, he told her to take the wheel and she was kinda nervous because, as she said, "I'm responsible for the people in this car, the cameramen in the back seat and including Russell Freaking Crowe." Jay mentioned he hadn't known what Russell's middle name is.

I saw it on Jay Leno last night, i thought she was very bubbly and excited. and she truly admires Russell. he gave her a motorcycle he is such a gift giving
man, love him he is so generous.
IMO i think maybe she didn't finish that story about the tunnel is because that was a scene from the movie and being that the movie is still in production, she might be giving away spoilers, and maybe down the line they may make changes to the scene. I am really surprise she even spoke about TNTD. usually the stars when doing interviews are held to secrecy about their movies until they do the promos. Although I am glad she did speak about Russell, she hardly said anything about her self, and her career. i know she spoke a bit about her father and uncle. anyway this is just MO. Rusty |

A note at the imdb board, I wish I had been a fly on a wall of that very tiny house.
Russell Crowe and Brian Dennehy filming in Sharpsburg, PA yesterday. In a very tiny house. Don't know how they fit actors and cameras and crew in that house. For now, everyone remains very laid back and smiling.

Thanks to maria, some hope for the indie market, and good news for The Next Three Days.
Optimism creeps back to AFM After a brutal 12 months in the independent film business, a mood of cautious optimism is infusing business as AFM 2009 enters the home stretch.

thanks to Murph. i can imagine how Olivia feels being that close to Russell, she probably broke out in a sweat, every time she had to do a scene with the man.
is she blessed or is she blessed?
From Judy: The November 16-22, 2009 issue of "TV Guide Magazine" has a short interview with Olivia Wilde. This is what she said about working with Russell: "You just finished filming a thriller, "The Next Three Days", with Russell Crowe. Any scenes with him? All of them! In the middle of a scene, I would suddenly be thinking to myself, "Oh, my God, oh, my God." Rusty |
