This is just the first two days of filming.
 They have weeks to go and I'm not sure I want to see too many more pics like these. They are so
wonderful that I don't think I can take much more. It's like gorging on truffles.

I don't mind (too much, says she, looking for her butt burrito) the pics that are strictly what's being shot, but I'm trying to avoid too much of
the "making of" pics. It'll be too hard to keep those from my mind when I watch the film, and I don't want the illusion broken.

i guess i spent enough years as a backstage technician (i was known as 'becky the techie' for about 20 years) that a large part of the fun for me is
seeing those 'making of' pix. i love seeing the undergarments (so to speak) of the sets, and then seeing how they've made them look so real and
lived in. you can almost smell the scenery in any of ridley's films.
are we assuming - or do we know - that janty is doing the costumes again? they're absolutely stunning! the eyes have it...

But I had a trick up my sleeve...Got any more tricks up that sleeve of yours. I read at one of those picture sites that Russell was staying in a trailer while there. I guess the hut just didn't suit him.

The 2 dark horses look actually more appropriate for the times/their riders...a destrier was usually a heavier horse suitable for carrying an armoured, or chain-mailed, rider. Ro....do you think the horse on the right is a Friesian?
