February 17 Update: Whispers of the Muse
Hi everyone!
Welcome to this weeks update at Whispers of the Muse, www.whispersofthemuse.org/ . Hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day!
Sorry were a little late with the update today, but weve got something really special and it took a little while to get Dreamweaver to play nice! Announcing the addition of Amy to our wonderful writer list! Amy has written a fantastic NEW Screenplay entitled The End! Please be sure to take a look at Act One of this script and see what the actors see when they play the part! Welcome Amy! (And we got Dreamweaver to do the best we could, so the format is slightly off but as close to perfect as possible.)

An all NEW Erotica begins its series this week! The Magnolia Mens Club by Riley. Chapter 1 of this all new Erotica Long twists time travel and the dark secrets of the Magnolia Mens Club into the story of a twenty-first century woman and her exploration of carnal knowledge through time. This week, Caroline Hibbert tells what she knows about the erotic secrets of this strange Club hidden right in her own hometown.
Ben Wade is back in the Celestial Series with an all NEW Lucifers Guide pt. 20, by Riley. Ben Wades decisions are being made without his input or are they? Hes struggling to make his way back to Vivi, and heaven is doing its best to keep him alive.
Also in the Celestial Series, Terry Thorne returns in and all NEW The Guardian Warrior pt. 6 by Riley. Terry faces several things that threaten his ability to keep his mind focused, but he also learns a few things about himself he never quite knew.
The all NEW L.A. Confessions, a collaborative L.A. Confidential fiction by Natalie, Jessie and Riley returns. In chapter 4, Lulu LaRue, pt. 1, Calloways project begins to raise waves of suspicion, intrigue and exposure as Vincennes presses for a particular test subject, Bud hides his secret, Exley explores the reasons behind Dudley Smiths motives and Stensland shakes up his own incentives.
The 1876 Manor Chronicles continues this week with the NEW The Quickening, pt. 3 by the Chronicles Collaborative. Valentines Day and Vermont is buzzing with promise and heartache, sexual fantasy and poignant revelations! Kelly and Jeff have independent thoughts of Vegas, baby; Natalie surprises Jack with a rekindling while Claudia and Antony struggle with the Aubrey twins; Emily gets the hots for one Ben Wade and Kim does his best to discourage her interests; Pullo faces the startling amazement of being young Valeries father; Ben has criminal designs on the local bank; John has extremely erotic designs for him and Riles and the Inn has a strange new guest destined to shake up everything!

Lachlan Curry is back in the NEW To Boldly Go , by Jessie. Has Jessie blown her chance with that handsome Lachlan Curry? And once he finally does come into her life, is she really prepared for what lay ahead?
And Terry Thorne returns in the NEW Into the War Zone, pt. 2 by Riley. Showtime and the negotiations for the original captive and Dino begin. But theres a strange surprise just around the corner for Terry and Zack.
Check out the all NEW screenplay in our Scripts and Screenplays segment! The End by Amy. This week, Act One. Its the end of the world and Shayla is dying. Her best friend doesnt know it, but the stranger who knows her secret does. Shayla feels alone in this world, and as the end draws near its up to Bethany to show her that shes not alone and the stranger in their midst to show her the kind of love shes never known.
In the Literary Longs section this week, Elise continues her supernatural novel, Half with the NEW chapter 10. As Valeska Gorstef seeks the human life she wants but thought was impossible, will she have to give in to her darker half to save all she cares about? Her blood runs both hot and cold. Which Half will win?
And another NEW Literary Long, Whom the Gods Destroy, chapter 3 by Michael McLean. No one in San Miguel is surprised that someone got mad enough to try and strangle the chair of the History Department. Unfortunately nothing in San Miguel is ever routine as the investigation progresses the clues form an ominous picture.
AND, as you might have noticed, The Muse Playground has been Yuku-ed! It was a sneak attack and Natalie has worked hard to get everything back to picture perfect. Thank you all for your patience!
