It's really ironic, it's been almost 10 years and I'm back where I started. I learned to do screenshots just so I could do Gladiator when it came
out on DVD. I've learned a lot since then and this set is fantastic. I'm seriously thinking of making my the equivalent of a graphic novel for myself
using the script and these screenshots.
Now that I have Gladiator half done, I've been wondering what I should do next. Maybe Tenderness! We'll see.

Isis you learned to do caps in blu-ray?!? That looks fantastic. I'll add my compliments to the new and improved Kaspinet - lookin' good girls! I
finally got round to watching the extras on the new blu-ray disc last night. I thought I'd spend maybe half hour on it and then watch the film. I spent
four and a half hours just on the extras!! I was so thrilled to see footage of the Q&A I attended way back in 2000 - I thought that my memory would have to
suffice. He was so funny that night! (and excited and/or nervous! he's talking so fast that it's still hard to catch it all even on replays.) There
were many other clips, more of that on-the-set interview than I've ever seen. Fantastic.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that took that long watching all the extras on the BR dvd. I just cracked up on some of those silly spots he did on set.
 It was sooooo worth the money for another copy.

What a great find, Isis, but Holy Crap, that's too much to pay, at least for me, even for a bookaphile, lol. I'll wait until I can find one used or at
Half.com or somewhere, if possible. I still have Taschen's Michael Mann book in my cart at amazon but haven't bought it yet. I buy too many other books
to read and they're piling up quickly.

i just finished watching this yet again, and i think i cried harder
 this time than after any prior viewing. it's funny how the better you get to know
maximus, the more painful it is that he died, but he had to die. even if he had survived the final battle with commie, what was he
going to do, set up house with lucilla and lucius? i think not. he may have loved lucilla once, but he loved his family  more.
but you all know that. becks ...i wonder how long they left commie's body lying in the dirt of the coliseum? |

Still dreaming about getting an external Blu-Ray drive for my computer. Maybe when the income tax return comes next year I'll be able to spend it before my daughter needs something else that can't wait, LOL. |
